The Citizens Justice Association is an organization devoted to educating the general public about law and court procedure, with an emphasis on practical do-it-yourself methods. The Association is also formed for the purposes of educating people as to the need for reform of the courts, the need for making the legal system user-friendly, and the techniques of activism and community organizing.
Through websites, newsletters, seminars, and books, the Association intends to help ordinary people know their legal rights, appear for themselves in court (when practical to do so), and be empowered to help improve the legal system.
